English Matri Satsang w/ Swamiji
Many of us have been gathering on Zoom, with Swami Gurusharan, for Ma Satsang straight from India. There are almost no words to express how inspiring these satsangs have been. Swamiji open with chanting and then gives a dharma talk based on Ma’s teachings. He leaves time for questions and answers at the end of our hour together. We want you to join us!

The Living Wisdom Series- The Bhagavad Gita
Taught by Saraswati Barbara Haney
Shri Anandamayi Ma Ashram will offer a weekly Bhagavad Gita study class online. This class is open to everyone — whether encountering the Gita for the first time or returning to it after years of study.
Participants are encouraged to obtain an edition that includes the original Sanskrit, both Devanagari and transliteration, and English translation to support steady study. There are versions online and in book form; we suggest Winthrop Sargeant’s book The Bhagavad Gita, as it has Sanskrit transliteration, Devanagari, and English translation. Additional translations and traditional commentaries — including those of Swami Sivananda and Madhusudhana Saraswati — will also be referenced to provide depth and context.
Each session will include reading, reflection, optional chanting, and discussion. The Gita will be approached in a spirit of reverence and devotion — as sacred song — with patience, humility, and a willingness to listen inwardly as well as outwardly.
No prior experience with Sanskrit or Hindu philosophy is required. The class will continue on an open-ended basis. All are welcome.
